Christmas Day

Jingle bells, jingle bells …..

Well I think, judging by the number of presents that Santa left under our Christmas tree, everyone in our house have been good girls and boys this year.

Alice and three of her friends spent Christmas day with us, and we had a thoroughly good time. We had a traditional Aussie Christmas dinner with seafood, BBQ’d salmon and masses of huge tiger prawns, and a leg of honey glazed ham. Alison, one of Alice’s friends brought along a Tiramisu for dessert that she had made freshly that morning. We spent most of the day sitting outside in the sunshine eating and chatting, and when it got dark we witnessed the rare event of the full moon on Christmas day as it started to rise above the water. We finished off the evening playing silly games and eating even more.
