We moved on from Red Rock and travelled south 150km to a small coastal town called Hat Head. The canp site we booked into was nestled among mature shade trees and we had a pitch right next to the creek.
We spent our stay walking along the beach, in the creek when the tide was out, and had a couple of walks along the local bush tracks.
On one of or days out exploring we visited Trial Bay Gaol. The gaol was built by convict labour and opened in 1886, after 13 years of construction.
